There are so many books being adapted into TV shows these days, I can’t keep up. But I try, as I love the experience of seeing a story and its characters brought to life. Or, the opposite, seeing the live action and then wanting the source material. Just recently, I got sucked into the Bridgerton hype (usually not my thing, but they got me with Season 3’s friends-to-lovers trope 😅), and after that carriage scene, reading the book was an absolute must.

If possible, all my books would be in hardcopy. I love the book feel, the book smell, and of course, creating all the voices and visuals in my head. But physical books take up A LOT of space and, naturally, A LOT of time. Enter audiobooks. A medium that took me a few years to accept, after just getting used to eBooks.

Things that make me cry. 😭

It’s… been quite a year. I remember 2020 being exceptionally hard, as we were dealing with a lot of changes, fears, and anxieties. But 2021 felt like it went by in a flash, mostly because I’ve kept myself so busy with work. While it actually was a good year for me, filled with many happy moments and accomplishments, I was feeling the need to slow down as the new year came up.
